Based upon the systems and integration needs of the project, AVS will provide you with design, engineering, and control recommendations for each room to optimize your enjoyment of the systems. More...

Lighting Control
Convenient, intelligent, and sophisticated control of your home’s interior and exterior lighting. There are two functions of a typical lighting control system. One is to reduce clutter on a wall that has 4 or more lighting switches and second, to control all of the lights throughout the residence. Controls may be programmed so that preset pathways or moods, dimming, and on / off may be effectuated by a touch of a button or based upon time of day. For example, a “Home” button may be programmed so that upon arriving at home all hallway lights from the garage to the kitchen and the front door to the bedrooms go on to ensure that the pathway is lit upon entering the home. The key is that no one need ever enter a dark house again!

In both new construction and retro-fit projects, lighting control systems may be easily and expertly installed for you and your family to enjoy the full power and advanced control of these systems. Breakthroughs in wireless technology have made this possible with or without extensive pre-wiring. Integrate the lighting system with the security system for additional safety. By programming lighting paths to doors and exits should the fire alarm be triggered, you and your family may reach safety more quickly.

Energy conscious or environmentally friendly projects are complemented beautifully by a professionally installed lighting control system.

Programming and service are large parts of any lighting control system. We pride ourselves on haying advanced Lutron programmers and factory trained professionals on staff to service your needs now and in the future.

Integration

All of the home’s integrated subsystems may be centrally controlled by a simple easy to use control system. Home audio, video, lighting, temperature, CD management, security, gate control, sprinkler systems, and much more may all be controlled via touch panels or computers throughout the home and / or remotely via the Internet.

Structured Wiring (Structured wire/CATV DSS Distribution System):

Structured wire consists of bundled wire packages consisting of coaxial and data communication wires run to specified locations. These bundles will allow for future expansion and connection of PC computers for entertainment and Internet access, address your phone and data needs as well as any future network technologies that may develop over the coming few years. To truly address the future however, running conduit to these locations will allow you to run wires for technologies not yet contemplated at some time down the road. In essence, we hope to anticipate developments in future technology using an industry standard “structured wiring” approach.
